If the working-day commitment is blank, remaining earnings are compared with the daily goal without inventing a trip duration. Actual waiting or blocked availability can change daily earnings. Tolls not included. Driver pay, dispatch fees, and taxes are also excluded. Full checks use your truck, a current diesel benchmark, route miles, deadhead, toll estimates, pay rules, and fixed bills.

What happens after I deliver a load?

Keep delivery documents and expenses with the load, create its payment record and track the broker balance and due date. Record partial or full payments as they arrive. Once payment and expense information is complete, close out the load and compare estimated with actual profit.

Can I see who owes me money?

Yes. Load payment records connect the broker, amount, due date and payments received. Review open and overdue payments, the remaining balance on each load and the broker’s recorded payment history. Follow-up notes are your records; they do not automatically contact the broker.

Is Backhaul a load board?

No. Keep using the load boards, brokers and contacts you already use. Backhaul checks an offer you have found, so you can decide whether to take it, counter, or pass.

How does Backhaul calculate load profit?

A full check combines the offer with your truck’s cost profile, route miles, deadhead to pickup, fuel-price context and toll estimates. Review the inputs before you decide. The result is an estimate; after the run, record payment and actual expenses to compare it with actual profit.

What if I don’t know my cost per mile?
